VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 There, no fatigue shall smite them, nor shall they ever be driven from it' 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, "We have been sent forth to a guilty people." 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
