"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
