VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 'Enter you them, in peace and security!' 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and [also,] that the suffering which I shall impose [on sinners] will indeed be a suffering most grievous. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 except his wife (about whom Allah says that) We have decreed that she shall be among those who stay behind." 60
