He said,"We feel afraid of you." 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said, 'We have been sent unto a people of sinners, 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
