VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ (O Prophet), declare to My servants that I am indeed Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful. 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 when they entered unto him, saying, 'Peace!' He said, 'Behold, we are afraid of you.' 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
