"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 'Enter you them, in peace and security!' 46 And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity). 47 There, no fatigue shall smite them, nor shall they ever be driven from it' 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
