"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 Abraham said: "What, do you give me this tiding though old age has smitten me? Just consider what tiding do you give me!" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
