Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
