"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
