The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 excepting the folk of Lot; them we shall deliver 59 except his wife (about whom Allah says that) We have decreed that she shall be among those who stay behind." 60
