Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 We have not created but with reason the heavens and the earth and all that lies within them. The Hour (of the great change) is certain to come. So turn away (from them) with a grace. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator of all things, the Knowing. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Do not direct your eyes towards the things We have given to some of their couples to enjoy, and do not at all grieve because of them, and take the Muslims within the folds of your mercy. 88 and say, "I am, indeed, a plain warner," 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 concerning that they were doing. 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say. 97 But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99
