And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them. 81 notwithstanding that they had been wont [to enjoy Our blessings and] to hew out dwellings from the mountains, [wherein they could live] in security 82 But the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the morning hour, 83 and whatever they had been earning proved of no avail. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Stretch not thine eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers, 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 [For, thou art the bearer of a divine writ] such as We have bestowed from on high upon those who [afterwards] broke it up into parts, 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 about what they did. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know. 96 We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. 97 Glorify and praise your Lord and be with those who prostrate themselves before God. 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
