The people of Al-Hijr denied Our apostles; 80 And We gave them Our signs, and they remained averse to them. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 Strain not thine eyes toward that which We cause some wedded pairs among them to enjoin, and be not grieved on their account, and lower thy wing (in tenderness) for the believers. 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 [For, thou art the bearer of a divine writ] such as We have bestowed from on high upon those who [afterwards] broke it up into parts, 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 about whatever they had been doing! 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 who assert that there are, side by side with God, other divine powers as well: for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 96 And indeed We know that you are disheartened by their speech. 97 But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
