Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountains (feeling themselves) secure. 82 So the scream overcame them at morning. 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 We have given you the seven oft-recited verses and the great Quran. 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 even as We had sent warning to those who had divided their religion into fragments; 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 About all what they used to do. 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
