And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 And We gave them Our communications, but they turned aside from them; 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 So the rumbling overtook them in the morning; 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 We did not create the heavens and the earth, and what is between them except in truth. The Hour is sure to come, therefore, forgive them with a gracious pardon. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 [so] turn, not thine eyes [longingly] towards the worldly benefits which We have granted unto some of those [that deny the truth]. And neither grieve over those [who refuse to heed thee,] but spread the wings of thy tenderness over the believers, 88 and say, "I am, indeed, a plain warner," 89 even as We had sent warning to those who had divided their religion into fragments; 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 So by your Lord, We will surely question them all 92 about whatever they had been doing! 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 And serve thy Lord till the Inevitable cometh unto thee. 99
