And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And We gave them Our signs, and they remained averse to them. 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 But the Shout seized them in the morning, 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but in truth; and the hour is most surely coming, so turn away with kindly forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is certainly the All-knowing Creator. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 Of what they used to do. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 Surely We suffice to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 Indeed, We know your chest is straitened by that they say. 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
