▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
People of Hijr rejected the Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 And indeed We have given you seven verses that are repeated, and the great Qur’an. 87 Stretch not thine eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers, 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 Like (those) We had sent to those schismatics who slandered their Books 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 About all what they used to do. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 verily, We shall suffice thee against all who [now] deride [this message - all] 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 We certainly know that you feel sad about what they say against you. 97 So hallow thou the praise of thy Lord, and be thou of the prostrate. 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
