And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 And We brought Our signs unto them, yet they were averting themselves therefrom. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the hills, (wherein they dwelt) secure. 82 and the Cry seized them in the morning; 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but in truth; and the hour is most surely coming, so turn away with kindly forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 So covet not things We have bestowed on a portion of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and protect those who believe; 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 But, by thy Sustainer! [On the Day of Judgment] We shall indeed call them to account, one and all, 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 We suffice thee against the mockers, 95 who assert that there are, side by side with God, other divine powers as well: for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 96 And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say. 97 But you should glorify your Lord with praises, and be among those who bow in submission; 98 And keep worshipping your Lord, till death* comes to you. (* The certainty.) 99
Almighty Allah's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
