The Bee (Al-nahl)
128 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Cave (Al-Kahf) before Noah (Noah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ God's command comes; so seek not to hasten it. Glory be to Him! High be He exalted above that they associate with Him! 1 He sends down the angels with the soul of faith the divine revelations towards those among His bondmen He wills that, “There is no worship except for Me, therefore fear Me.” 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth. Exalted is He above what they associate (with Him)! 3 Man He created from a drop of semen; and still he becomes an open contender. 4 And the cattle -- He created them for you; in them is warmth, and uses various, and of them you eat, 5 And ye have a sense of pride and beauty in them as ye drive them home in the evening, and as ye lead them forth to pasture in the morning. 6 and they carry your loads to many a place which you would be unable to reach without much hardship. Surely your Lord is Intensely Loving, Most Merciful. 7 And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge. 8 And Allah's is the direction of the way, and some (roads) go not straight. And had He willed He would have led you all aright. 9

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
