The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him! 1 He sends down the angels with the Spirit (Gabriel) by His command to those of His worshipers whom He chooses, (saying:) 'Warn, there is no god except Me, therefore fear Me' 2 He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him. 3 He created man of a sperm-drop; and, behold, he is a manifest adversary. 4 He created the cattle from whom you get warm clothing and (other) advantages, and some you eat. 5 And for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture]. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful. 7 (He has created for you) horses, mules, and donkeys, which you ride and as an adornment; and He creates what you do not know. 8 The straight way leads to God and there are ways which deviate from the right course. If He so wished, He would guide you all. 9
