The Bee (Al-nahl)

128 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Cave (Al-Kahf) before Noah (Noah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ THE DECREE of GOD will surely come; so do not try to hasten it: Too glorious and high is He for what they associate with Him. 1 He sendeth down the angels with the spirit by His command upon whomsoever of his bondmen He willeth: warn that there is no god but I, wherefore fear Me. 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He is exalted above anything they associate with Him. 3 He created man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: yet he shows himself to be openly contentious! 4 He created the cattle. They are a source of clothing and food and also a variety of other benefits for you. 5 and you find beauty in them when you drive them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. 7 And [it is He who creates] horses and mules and asses for you to ride, as well as for [their] beauty: and He will yet create things of which [today] you have no knowledge. 8 It rests with Allah alone to show you the Right Way, even when there are many crooked ways. Had He so willed, He would have (perforce) guided you all aright. 9
