The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him! 1 He sends down this spirit (of prophecy) by His command through His angels on any of His servants whom He wills, (directing them): "Warn people that there is no deity but Me; so hold Me alone in fear." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with Truth. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Allah in His Divinity. 3 Man He created from a drop of semen; and still he becomes an open contender. 4 He created the cattle from whom you get warm clothing and (other) advantages, and some you eat. 5 And in them is your elegance, when you bring them home at evening, and when you leave them to graze. 6 They carry your burdens to lands so distant you could not have reached without much hardship. Indeed your Lord is compassionate and kind. 7 And He created horses and mules and asses for you to ride, and also for your adornment. And He creates many things (for you) that you do not even know about. 8 And upon Allah it rests to show the right way, and there are some deviating (ways); and if He please He would certainly guide you all aright. 9
