The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him! 1 He sends down the angels with inspiration of His Command to whom of His slaves He pleases (saying): "Warn mankind that La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so fear Me (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds). 2 He created the heavens and the earth with reason. Too glorious and high is He for what they associate with Him. 3 He created mankind from a sperm drop, yet he is a clear adversary. 4 He has created cattle for you: from them you derive food and clothing and numerous other benefits; 5 how pleasant they look when you bring them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 and they carry your loads to many a place which you would be unable to reach without much hardship. Surely your Lord is Intensely Loving, Most Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as a means of beauty. He has also created things that you do not know. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
