۞ Allah says: 'Do not take to yourself two gods. He is only One God; so have awe of Me' 51 And His is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto Him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 And whatever of comfort ye enjoy, it is from Allah. Then, when misfortune reacheth you, unto Him ye cry for help. 53 Then, when He removes the affliction from you, lo, a party of you assign associates to their Lord, 54 (As if) to show their ingratitude for the favours we have bestowed on them! then enjoy (your brief day): but soon will ye know (your folly)! 55 They give to unknown images a share out of the sustenance that We gave them. By God, you will be questioned about that which you have falsely invented. 56 And they assign daughters for Allah! - Glory be to Him! - and for themselves (sons,- the issue) they desire! 57 And when there is announced unto any of them a female his countenance remainoth darkened the whole day and he is wroth inwardly. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that which is announced to him. Shall he keep it with disgrace or bury it (alive) in the dust? Now surely evil is what they judge. 59 The attribute of evil applies to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while to God applies the highest attribute, for He is Mighty, the Wise. 60
