Abraham was (equal to) a nation, obedient to Allah, of pure faith and was not among the idolaters, 120 He showed his gratitude for the favours of Allah, who chose him, and guided him to a Straight Way. 121 And We gave him good in this world, and in the next he will most surely be among the good. 122 And then We sent you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) the divine revelation that, “Follow the religion of Ibrahim, who was free from all falsehood; and was not a polytheist.” 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it, and most surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that about which they differed. 124 Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Quran) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided. 125 If you have to retaliate, do so to the extent you have been injured; but if you forbear it is best for those who bear with fortitude. 126 Endure thou patiently (O Muhammad). Thine endurance is only by (the help of) Allah. Grieve not for them, and be not in distress because of that which they devise. 127 Allah is with the cautious and those who do good. 128
