(Remember) the day when We will call every people with their Imam; then whoever is given his book in his right hand, these shall read their book; and they shall not be dealt with a whit unjustly. 71 And whoever is blind in this, he shall (also) be blind in the hereafter; and more erring from the way. 72 And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend. 73 and if We had not fortified you, you would have been very slightly inclining towards them; 74 In that case We should have made thee taste an equal portion (of punishment) in this life, and an equal portion in death: and moreover thou wouldst have found none to help thee against Us! 75 And verily they had well-nigh unsettled thee from the land that they might drive thee forth from thence. And in that case they would not have tarried after thee but a little while. 76 This has been Our way with the apostles whom We sent before you. You will not find any variation in Our line of action. 77
