Then think of the Day We shall summon every community with its leader. Those who are given their Record in their right hand shall read the Record of their deeds and shall not be wronged a whit. 71 And whoever is blind in this, he shall (also) be blind in the hereafter; and more erring from the way. 72 They indeed sought to entice you away from what We revealed to you, hoping that you might invent something else in Our name; and then they would have accepted you as a close friend. 73 And had We not made you stand firm, you would nearly have inclined to them a little. 74 In that case, We would have made you taste a double portion (of punishment) in this life and a double portion (of punishment) after death. And then you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 They had nearly expelled you from the land and driven you away from it. But then, they too would have stayed but a little after you. 76 Such was Our way with those whom We sent before you. You shall find no change in Our way. 77
