Keep the prayer established, from the declining of the sun until darkness of the night, and the Qur’an at dawn; indeed the angels witness the reading of the Qur’an at dawn. 78 Say a supererogatory prayer at the hour of the first watch: Your Lord may raise you to a most exalted station. 79 And say [in thy prayer]: "O my Sustainer! Cause me to enter [upon whatever I may do] in a manner true and sincere, and cause me to leave [it] in a manner true and sincere, and grant me, out of Thy grace, sustaining strength!" 80 And say: "The truth has now come [to light,] and falsehood has withered away: for, behold, all falsehood is bound to wither away!" 81 What We have sent down of the Qur'an is a healing and a grace for the faithful, and adds only loss for the sinners. 82 And when We bestow favours upon man, he turns away and goes far away towards himself; and when evil touches him he despairs. 83 Say: 'Each human works in his own manner. But your Lord knows very well who is best guided on the way' 84
