Say your prayers from the decline of the sun, until nightfall; and at dawn -- the recitation at dawn is indeed witnessed. 78 And as for the night, keep vigil a part of it, as a work of supererogation for thee; it may be that thy Lord will raise thee up to a laudable station. 79 And say [in thy prayer]: "O my Sustainer! Cause me to enter [upon whatever I may do] in a manner true and sincere, and cause me to leave [it] in a manner true and sincere, and grant me, out of Thy grace, sustaining strength!" 80 Say, 'Truth has come and falsehood has been banished; it is doomed to banishment.'" 81 And We send down, of the Koran, that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers; and the unbelievers it increases not, except in loss. 82 And when We bestow favor on man, he turns aside and behaves proudly, and when evil afflicts him, he is despairing. 83 Say: "Everyone acts according to his own disposition: But your Lord knows best who it is that is best guided on the Way." 84
