When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 When they had journeyed further on, Moses said to his servant: "Bring us our repast. We are surely fatigued by today's journey." 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 [Musa (Moses)] said: "That is what we have been seeking." So they went back retracing their footsteps. 64 and found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed grace from Ourselves and unto whom We had imparted knowledge [issuing] from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him: "May I attend upon you that you may instruct me in the knowledge you have been taught of the right way?" 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 "How can you bear that which is beyond your comprehension?" 68 Moses said: "Thou wilt find me, if Allah so will, (truly) patient: nor shall I disobey thee in aught." 69 He said, "Well then, if you would follow me, do not ask me about anything till I speak of it to you." 70
