And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "I will not give up (travelling) until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travelling." 60 Then, when they reached their meeting, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, burrowing. 61 When they had gone past (the confluence), Moses said to his servant: "Give me my breakfast. I am exhausted from this journey." 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 [Moses] exclaimed: "That [was the place] which we were seeking! And the two turned back, retracing their footsetps, 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 [The other] answered: "Behold, thou wilt never be able to have patience with me 67 And how can you have patience in that of which you have not got a comprehensive knowledge? 68 Musa said: thou wilt find me, if Allah will, patient, and shall not disobey thee in any affair. 69 He said, "Then if you follow me, do not ask me about anything until I make to you about it mention." 70
