And recall when Moosa said to his assistant, “I will not give up until I reach the place where the two seas meet or until I have progressed for ages.” 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints. 64 Then they found one of Our slaves, unto whom We had bestowed mercy from Us, and whom We had taught knowledge from Us. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 [The other] answered: "Behold, thou wilt never be able to have patience with me 67 And how canst thou have patience over that which thy knowledge encompasseth not 68 "You will find me patient if God wills," said Moses; "and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He said, “Therefore if you stay with me, do not ask me about anything until I myself mention it to you.” 70
