And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said: Didst thou see, when we took refuge on the rock, and I forgot the fish - and none but Satan caused me to forget to mention it - it took its way into the waters by a marvel. 63 'This is what we have been seeking' said he, and they retraced their footsteps 64 Then found they one of Our slaves, unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our presence. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 He replied, "You will not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 "How can you bear that which is beyond your comprehension?" 68 Musa (Moses) said: "If Allah will, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in aught." 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70
