When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when at last they came to the land where the two seas met, they forgot their fish and it swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 So when they had passed further on (beyond that fixed place), Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "Bring us our morning meal; truly, we have suffered much fatigue in this, our journey." 62 His companion replied, "Do you remember the rock on which we took rest? Satan made me forget to mention to you the story of the fish and how it miraculously made its way into the sea. 63 He said: This is that which we have been seeking. So they retraced their steps again. 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 "You will find me patient if God wills," said Moses; "and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 Said he, 'Then if thou followest me, question me not on anything until I myself introduce the mention of it to thee.' 70
