And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 When they had gone past (the confluence), Moses said to his servant: "Give me my breakfast. I am exhausted from this journey." 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come). 64 Then they found one of Our servants unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and We had taught him knowledge proceeding from Us. 65 Moses said unto him: "May I follow thee on the understanding that thou wilt impart to me something of that consciousness of what is right which has been imparted to thee?" 66 He said, "Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience. 67 For how can you patiently bear with something you cannot encompass in your knowledge?" 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70
