When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 After they had passed the place, Moses said to his young companion, "Bring us our morning meal; we have indeed been fatigued by this journey." 62 He replied, "Did you see when we were resting by the rock, that I forgot the fish? Satan made me forget it, so I did not mention it. It made its way to the sea in a miraculous way!" 63 Moses said, "That is just what we were looking for." So they went back the way they had come, 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 [The other] answered: "Behold, thou wilt never be able to have patience with me 67 "How can you remain patient with that which you do not fully understand?" 68 Replied [Moses]: "Thou wilt find me patient, if God so wills; and I shall not disobey thee in anything!" 69 Said he, 'Then if thou followest me, question me not on anything until I myself introduce the mention of it to thee.' 70
