Tell also of Moses in the Book. He was indeed a chosen one, and was a messenger and a prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mount and made him draw near to be in close communion with Us; 52 and [how,] out of Our grace, We granted unto him his brother Aaron, to be a prophet [by his side]. 53 And remember Ismail in the Book; he was indeed true to his promise and was a Noble Messenger, a Prophet. 54 And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing. 55 Commemorate Enoch in the Book. He was a truthful person and a prophet, 56 And We raised him to a lofty station. 57 Those were they unto whom Allah bestowed His Grace from among the Prophets, of the offspring of Adam, and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Nuh (Noah), and of the offspring of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Israel and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the Verses of the Most Beneficent (Allah) were recited unto them, they fell down prostrating and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But the generation that succeeded them wasted their prayers and followed their desires, so they shall encounter error 59 Excepting those who may repent and believe and work righteously; these shall enter the Garden and shall not be wronged at all 60 [theirs will be the] gardens of perpetual bliss which the Most Gracious has promised unto His servants, in a realm which is beyond the reach of human perception: [and,] verily, His promise is ever sure of fulfilment! 61 They will not hear any lewd talk in it, but only Peace; and in it for them is sustenance, every morning and evening. 62 That is the Paradise which We shall give the cautious worshipers to inherit. 63 "We do not come down," (will the angels say) "but only by your Lord's command." To Him belongs whatever lies before us and behind us, and the space in between. Your Lord does not ever forget: 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – therefore worship Him and be firm in His worship; do you know any other of the same name as His? 65
