And mention Musa in the Book; surely he was one purified, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 51 And [remember how] We called upon him from the right-hand slope of Mount Sinai and drew him near [unto Us] in mystic communion, 52 And, out of Our Mercy, We gave him his brother Aaron, (also) a prophet. 53 And recite in the Book the account of Ishmael. He was ever true to his promise, and was a Messenger, a Prophet. 54 He used to command his people to offer prayer and give charity, and was liked by his Lord. 55 And mention Idris in the Book; surely he was a truthful man, a prophet, 56 We raised him to a high position. 57 These are they whom Allah hath favoured, from among the prophets, of the progeny of Adam and of them whom We bore with Nuh, and of the progeny of Ibrahim and Isra'il, and of those whom We have guided and chosen; whenever the revelations of the Compassionate were rehearsed unto them, they fell down prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But the generation that succeeded them wasted their prayers and followed their desires, so they shall encounter error 59 Except those who repent and believe, and work righteousness: for these will enter the Garden and will not be wronged in the least,- 60 The gardens of perpetuity which the Beneficent Allah has promised to His servants while unseen; surely His promise shall come to pass. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain discourse, but only: Peace, and they shall have their sustenance therein morning and evening. 62 Such are the gardens which We will give to Our God-fearing servants as their inherited property. 63 "We do not come down," (will the angels say) "but only by your Lord's command." To Him belongs whatever lies before us and behind us, and the space in between. Your Lord does not ever forget: 64 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Worship, then, Him alone, and remain steadfast in His worship! Dost thou know any whose name is worthy to be mentioned side by side with His?" 65
