Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 And We shall inherit from him (at his death) all that he talks of (i.e. wealth and children which We have bestowed upon him in this world), and he shall come to Us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
