Man says, 'What, when I am dead shall I then be brought forth alive?' 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 When Our revelations are recited to them, the unbelievers say to the faithful ones, "Which of us is more prosperous?" 73 We have destroyed so many generations before them, who surpassed them in material power and splendour. 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
