The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell); 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 But they shall reject their worship and turn against them. 82
