The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: 'Which of the two parties has a better position or company?' 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Absolutely not, We will record his words and prolong his punishment. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
