And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
