The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 But does man not remember that We created him when he was nothing before? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
