Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
