Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
