See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
