Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
