Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
