Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
